Anyways, the premise of this movie is that a madman has begun to murder people to the likes of Poe's stories and poetry, which means that the local authorities need to enlist the help of Poe to help capture the murder.
I remember when this movie came out, and had a little bit of a urge to see it but just could not picture John Cusack as Poe, and I love Cusack; but after seeing him in 1408 I just could not bring myself to see him in another horror movie.
To be honest this movie has not captured my attention so I have been off doing things, like killing the swarm of Asian beetles that seem to be infesting my house. The few moments of gore that you do see are pretty neat, other than that this movie would be great if you wanted something on in the background as you surfed the internet, took the garbage out, or were trying out your new bottle of Poo-Pourri.
So in conclusion, IMDB gives this movie a 6.3 out of 10 stars, Rotten Tomatoes gives it a whopping 23% with a 46% audience approval rating. I will give it 2 out of 5 skulls, bad but tolerable. Unlike the relentless error message that continues to pop up every 10 seconds!
Really hoping that this shit stops.
So until tomorrow,
Sleep tight and don't let the zombies bite.
